Biography
Gabriel Sandblom is associate professor and senior consultant at the center for Digestive Diseases, Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge. He has experience from upper abdominal surgery and is presently working at the unit of acute abdominal wall surgery. He is the board member of the Swedish Register for gallstone surgery (GallRiks), Swedish Hernia Register (SHR), Swedish society for Innovative Surgical Technology (SIKT) and committee for clinical Research of the Swedish Surgical Society (KKF).
Research Interest
His research is mainly focused on abdominal wall surgery, acute pancreatitis and gall stone surgery.
